  • De’Aaron Fox Drops 29 as Spurs Beat Thunder Again, Jokic Delivers Historic Triple-Double: NBA Results (Dec 26–27 WIB)

De’Aaron Fox scored 29 points to lead the San Antonio Spurs to their third win over the Oklahoma City Thunder in just two weeks, while Nikola Jokic produced one of the greatest performances of the NBA season with a 56-point triple-double in an overtime victory. Here is a full breakdown of NBA results played on December 26–27 (WIB).

Fox Leads Spurs to Third Win Over Thunder in Two Weeks

San Antonio Spurs guard De’Aaron Fox delivered a dominant performance against the Oklahoma City Thunder, scoring 29 points to help the Spurs defeat the defending champions 117–102. It marked San Antonio’s third victory over Oklahoma City in the past two weeks, an increasingly rare blemish on the Thunder’s otherwise elite season.

Fox shot 12-of-19 from the field, knocked down 3-of-4 three-pointers, and went 2-of-2 from the free-throw line, while also contributing four rebounds, three assists, one steal, and one block. His efficiency and control of tempo proved decisive against a Thunder team that struggled to contain dribble penetration.

Reigning MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander finished with 22 points, but shot just 7-of-19 from the floor, including 1-of-6 from beyond the arc. According to ESPN Research, this marks the first time since the 1966–67 season that three of a team’s first five losses came against the same opponent.

Oklahoma City is now 0–3 against San Antonio, while holding a 26–2 record against the rest of the league.

Rockets Dominate Lakers Behind Thompson and Durant

The Houston Rockets continued their impressive form with a convincing 119–96 road win over the Los Angeles Lakers, leading wire-to-wire at Crypto.com Arena.

Forwards Amen Thompson and Kevin Durant combined for 51 points, overwhelming the Lakers on both ends of the floor. Thompson led all scorers with 26 points on 12-of-19 shooting, while adding seven rebounds and five assists. Durant followed closely with 25 points, hitting 4-of-6 from three-point range and dishing out eight assists.

Houston dominated the rebounding battle 48–25, exposing Los Angeles’ interior struggles. Lakers stars Luka Dončić (25 points) and LeBron James (18 points) combined to hit just 4-of-11 three-pointers and accounted for nine of the team’s 16 turnovers, highlighting Houston’s defensive pressure.

Jokic Makes History in Overtime Thriller Against Timberwolves

Denver Nuggets superstar Nikola Jokic produced one of the most extraordinary performances of the NBA season, recording 56 points, 16 rebounds, and 15 assists in a 142–138 overtime victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Jokic shot 15-of-21 from the field, 4-of-6 from three, and 22-of-23 from the free-throw line, controlling every aspect of the game in crunch time. Jamal Murray added 35 points and 10 assists, helping Denver survive a late Minnesota comeback.

Anthony Edwards scored 44 points for the Timberwolves, while Julius Randle added 32 points, but Minnesota could not contain Jokic once the game reached overtime.
